Bertha's Favorite Places to Go

Washington is great for dog parks and hikes! These are some of Bertha's favorite places to play

Centennial Trail

Image of the Centennial Trail The best way to enter the city of Snohomish? By way of the Centennial Trail, of course! It stretches from Arlington to Snohomish and is a great trail for bikers, runners, walkers, roller bladers, and everything in between--including Bertha!

For more info visit: Centennial Trail's Website or Snohomish County: Centennial Trail

Double Bluff Beach

Image of Double Bluff Beach Bertha loves to cool off in Double Bluff's waters during hot summer days. The water is shallow for a fairly long distance, especially during low tide. Fun Fact: The first time we took her here she nearly choked on a meatball from a meatball marinara sandwich! What a goofball.

Lake Roesiger Park

Image of Lake Roesiger A great place to rinse off in the lake and enjoy a picnic after! Bertha loves to fetch sticks in the lake.

For more info visit: Snohomish County: Lake Roesiger Park

Independence Lake & North Lake

Image of Independence Lake Bertha loves the views from this trail. The switchbacks are a little ruff ;), but looking down into the valley makes it worth the trip! Danny and Bertha enjoy romping around in the snow fields on the ridge.

Lord Hill Park

Lord Hill Park Plenty of trails to follow at Lord Hill! Trek down to the Snohomish River, wrap around Beaver Lake, or go for a nice trail jog with your pup.
